Fire Chief Kevin Donnelly is retiring from the Redmond Fire Department on January 31, 2013. Chief Donnelly plans to spend time traveling with his wife and enjoying more time with his grandchildren. Redmond Police Chief Ron Gibson will serve as acting interim Fire Chief. Mayor Marchione anticipates that the search for a new fire chief will take approximately a year. King County Fire 34 Commissioners wished Chief Donnelly the best in his future endeavors and thanked him for his service to the City of Redmond and Fire District 34.
